EMSS offers two places where you can find instructions on preparing your contribution for submission.

How

Follow the below steps to find specific writing instructions or further instructions.

Specific chapter writing instructions

1. Log in to EMSS.
2. Select the project you want to work on from the drop-down menu on your 'Welcome' screen.
3. Click 'Go'.
4. Click 'Author Instructions' in the gray bar below the project title. This is where you find specific chapter writing instructions.

Further instructions

1. Click on a manuscript title to open the corresponding 'Your Manuscript' page.
2. The Manuscript Status box on the right will list details like chapter length, number of figures, tables and more, if any are specified for this project. Scroll down to find the tab 'MANUSCRIPT'
3. Open the tab to review [any posted] notes that [may] contain further instructions.

If there are no instructions or if you'd like additional guidance, contact your Development Editor or your co-author.
