EMSS isn't designed for online collaboration on a single contribution. For this purpose we recommend online collaboration tools such as Google Docs, Office365, or Zoho.

It's important to have one author designated as the one who uploads and submits the contribution to EMSS. All co-authors can however log into EMSS and:

• See the previous versions and subsequent versions of the manuscript.
• Review the 'Author Instructions' page and the instructions on the 'My Manuscript' page.
• Make comments using the Notes function.
