Why does the CME Gateway state "User record not found" after I sign in with my STATdx credentials?

If you are seeing the "User record not found" message, it means that you still have an active session on STATdx and will need to logout first prior to opting in for Elsevier on the CME Gateway site.

Please visit STATdx to determine whether you are logged in. If you are logged in, click "Logout" in the upper-right corner. Closing the browser will not log you out of STATdx. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it is a key part of the authentication process.
