How do I set up an institution custom submitter (Non-Author) account?

Last updated on October 28, 2021

Some organizations designate one person to submit papers to SSRN on behalf of their authors. This option is available as part of a paid subscription to either SSRN’s Partners in Publishing or the Research Paper Series. These fee-based services feature a custom submitter account.

Starting August 1, 2022, SSRN will no longer provide complimentary institutional custom submitter accounts to facilitate the efficient uploading of submissions on behalf of contributing authors. Should you wish SSRN to establish an institutional submitter account for your organization, we are happy to do this when you subscribe to either Partners in Publishing or the Research Paper Series. These fee-based services feature a custom submitter account; 2-day priority processing of submissions; and the assemblage, branding, and dissemination of submissions on your organization’s behalf. For more information or pricing, contact Michael Magoulias.

If your organization is not interested in either of these services, there remains a cost-free option: If an individual author affiliated with your organization wishes to create his/her own SSRN user profile and submit as an individual contributor via the SSRN website, he/she is welcome to do this. Individuals have always been able to submit to SSRN’s open platform for free, and we honor and appreciate your scholarly working papers.
