Can I post external links?
Last updated on October 27, 2021
In some circumstances, it may be possible to add a URL link in the body of your abstract summary when the link is to another paper posted on SSRN, or if the link is to the same paper outside of SSRN. SSRN does not currently allow the posting of external URLs to other papers outside of SSRN that are different from the one posted. For example, if your paper posted on SSRN is titled “The Race to 2024” you cannot link to a different or other paper outside of SSRN with the title “What will politics look like in 2024.” You can link to the published version of your paper outside of SSRN. The link to the published version should be placed in the reference section of your submission. View How do I add a Reference to my SSRN paper for more information.
Before submitting your paper, please confirm that all links you have supplied in your abstract are legitimate working URLs.
