Using the Analyze Author Output function

Last updated on August 15, 2024

You can view and share an author’s output in terms of their publications, h-index, citations and co-authors.

Analyze author output is only one way to review an author's performance. You may also want to consider:

  • Amount of funding achievement, such as grants
  • Quality of research projects
  • Speaking engagements
  • Awards and recognition
  • Commercial impact
  • Academic considerations, such as teaching and academic programs

To analyze an author’s output:

  1. Run an author search.
  2. From the list of results, select the author you would like to analyze.
  3. Click ‘Analyze author output’ in the author summary information.

After following these steps, you can interact with the author output as outlined below.
