How do I use Saved searches on the homepage?

Saving searches is useful for revisiting and keeping track of your research on Scopus. You can save a search from any document results list or from within your current search history.
Saved searches is only available when you have an account and are signed into Scopus.
- Run a document search or an advanced search. A document search results page opens.
- From your document search results, click 'Save' from the toolbar appears above the search results. The Save this search popup opens.
- Enter a name for the new Saved search.
- Select 'Save'. Your search is saved and is accessible from the Saved searches tab on the homepage and the Saved searches page.
Note: You can save up to 200 searches.
- Select the 'Saved searches' tab on the Scopus homepage.
- Locate the saved search you would like to run.
- Select the results number to run the search and display the results.
Select 'new results' to view only new results since the search was last run.
- Select the 'Saved searches' tab on the Scopus homepage.
- Locate the saved search you would like to edit.
- Select the edit icon (pencil icon) next to the saved search. The search page opens (depending on the original search type) with the search information in the Enter query string field.
- Modify the search string and select 'Search'. The Search results page opens.
- From your document search results, click 'Save' from the toolbar above the search results.
- Update the name of the Saved search if needed (optional) and select 'Save'. Your search is saved and is accessible from the Saved searches tab on the homepage and the Saved searches page.
- Select the 'Saved searches' tab on the Scopus homepage.
- Locate the saved search you would like to rename.
- Locate the Saved search of which you would like to change the name.
- Select 'More'>'Change name'. The Change search name dialogue box opens.
- Enter a new name in the Change name to field.
- Select 'Save'.
You can choose to set up an email search alert to receive updates when new materials are published.
- Select the 'Saved searches' tab on the Scopus homepage.
- Locate the desired saved search and select 'Set alert'.
- Select the desired frequency.
- Click 'Set search alert'.
- Select the 'Saved searches' tab on the Scopus homepage.
- Locate the desired saved search and select 'More'>'Delete'. A dialogue box ask you to confirm that you want to delete the saved search.
- Select 'Delete'.
