The Annualized Awarded Grants Value is the Awarded Grants Value split evenly over its lifetime. For example, a five-year grant of $100,000 has an Annualized Awarded Grants Value of $20,000. The Annualized Awarded Grants Value metric is only available in the Grants module in SciVal.

Annualized Awarded Grants Value is displayed in US Dollar. The US Dollar values are calculated using the historical exchange rates provided by the US Federal Reserve. The metric includes grants starting from 2010 to present.

Grants are assigned to institutions based upon the Scopus affiliation of the awardee at the time of the grant being awarded. Institutions in SciVal are based on Scopus affiliations.
