The sum of each QS faculty area Citation Count, normalized by faculty area. This aims to equalize the influence of publication and citation patterns across each faculty area whereby each subject/faculty area contributes 20% to the final Citations per Faculty indicator.
As a result, you cannot sum Normalized Total Citation Counts (NTCC) (QS) to get the total NTCC, you need to apply the ratio first. The ratio is calculated based on the global total citation count / sum of global citation count per faculty. Refer the table below for ratio.
