What are Scopus author pages on ScienceDirect?

Last updated on March 02, 2026

Each Scopus author profile on ScienceDirect contains a preview of publication activity and metrics available on Scopus, enhanced with data from ScienceDirect. The information comes from peer-reviewed articles published in ScienceDirect journals, and other publications indexed in Scopus, where the researcher is specified as an author. The profile includes:

  • Scopus Author ID (also known as Scopus Author Identifier)
  • Author name
  • Current affiliation (if known)
  • Author metrics, such as: h-index, total number of publications, citations, pre-prints and co-authors, etc.
  • ScienceDirect Topics
  • Publication history from Scopus
  • ScienceDirect Journals

The profiles do not cover editorship, managerial or executive roles, or teaching positions.

Scopus author profiles are accessible to all ScienceDirect users.

Please note: Scopus author profiles are continuously being added to ScienceDirect.
