How do society members with membership benefits get access to a title on ScienceDirect?

Each society distributes a unique URL to its members for access to an included title on ScienceDirect. An example URL for activation of access would be: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/activate/jglr. Your own society activation URL will follow a similar format but with a different value instead of “jglr”.

Follow these steps to get access to your society's journal(s):

1. Select the URL provided by your society.
2. Enter the activation code to register for access.
3. Once the activation code is accepted, you will be prompted to either register for a new user profile or sign in to an existing user profile.

After completing these steps:

• You will be able to sign in with your user profile on ScienceDirect any time and gain access to society journals.
• You can browse society journal(s) on our Journals & Books pageopens in new tab/window.
