How do I suggest a content correction?
Last updated on March 02, 2026
To help us maintain and improve the quality of our content, we would like to hear from you when spotting a content error. The more detail you can give us about the error, the better.
If you encounter a harmful error, please contact us by phone immediately. Click the phone icon at the bottom of this page to find your local support number. We'll need your details, a brief description of the error, and the information listed below.
How
To process a content correction we'll need the following information:
- The DOI of the chapter or article (1) and the year of publication (2).
- A screenshot of the error, or the exact location (chapter, page number, paragraph, line number).
- Are you the (corresponding) author of the article or chapter?

Contact us through our web form and enter the above information in the Your question field. You will receive a response to confirm that your information is being reviewed by the appropriate teams within Elsevier.
