How can I link my new to my old institutional/SSO credentials?
Last updated on January 21, 2025If you have previously registered with Elsevier when using your institutional/SSO credentials, and you now have new institutional/SSO credentials, or your institution has updated the software and you're being authorized with new identifiers, you can link your new credentials to your existing Elsevier user account.
- Go to id.elsevier.comsettings.
- Find your institution or organization.
- Sign in via your institution or organization with your new institutional credentials.
- When back at Elsevier, please add your email address; this must be the same email address you have used in your registration before.
- Link to your institution/organization.
- Continue to your settings.
From now on you can sign in to your existing Elsevier account with your new institutional credentials.
