When will my chapter be published?

Last updated on June 02, 2026

After you submit your chapter, it will be sent to the Technical Assessment team for a completeness check. They will review your manuscript against the chapter template and let you know if any required elements are missing.

If your submission is complete, the chapter will then be forwarded to the Section Editor for review. The Section Editor review typically takes 1–2 months. If they provide any feedback or suggestions, they will contact you so you can make the necessary revisions. Once the chapter is approved, it will be moved to the production stage for proof creation.

The production team will generate the proofs and send them to you for your final review and approval. After you return your proof corrections to the typesetter, your chapter will be published in the reference collection in a minimum of four weeks, depending on the overall release schedule.

If you have any questions regarding the publication process, please contact your Content Project Manager.
