How do I know if cross-references are required?

Cross-references are links to other relevant articles in the work.
To find out if these are required, check your author instructions on EMSS. Go to your chapter page and at the top there is a grey bar. On the far right you should see a link to Author Instructions. Click on this and it will take you through to them.
