What usage metrics are displayed on Mendeley Data datasets?

To measure the impact of research data each dataset in Mendeley Data Repository displays a basket of different usage metrics.
Reuse metrics
These metrics include downloads, views and data citations. Downloads and views exclude machine-driven usage (e.g. bots, crawlers which are filtered according to the Project COUNTER list of bots). Data citations are sourced from DataCite and Crossref via the DataCite Event Data service.
Altmetrics
We display metrics capturing social media attention, media & policy mentions powered by PlumX.
