How do I upload, edit or archive a skills demo?

Files demonstrating the performance of the skill may be uploaded, edited, or archived for future use. When creating a Demo, the maximum file size is 25 MB and may be in the following formats:
- avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv – Window Media Player
- .mov – Quick Time Player
- swf – Adobe Flash Player
- .ppt, .pptx – PowerPoint files
- .pdf – Adobe Reader file
Please Note: Only the admin doing the upload is required to have Silverlight Microsoft Silverlight installed to access this functionality.
How
Follow the steps below depending on the action you would like to perform:
- Select 'Add/Edit Skills' from the Skills menu selections. The Skills Content Management screen displays.
- Click 'Create a new skill' or choose to edit an existing skill in the Skill's Content Management section.
- Click the Videos icon. The Videos tab of the Image Loader screen displays
- Click 'Browse'.
- Locate your file and click 'Open'.
- Click 'OK' on the confirmation pop-up.
- Your demo file will display on the Videos tab.
- Click “Preview” in the Link column to view your demo file.
- Click 'Save'
- The Version Comment screen displays.
- Enter applicable version comments in the field provided.
- Click 'Save' again. A confirmation message displays at the top of the screen.
- Select 'Add/Edit Skills' from the Skills menu selections. The Skills Content Management screen displays.
- Click 'Create a new skill' or choose to edit an existing skill in the Skill's Content Management section.
- Click the Videos icon. The Videos tab of the Video/Demo Loader screen displays
- Click on the video row.
- Click 'Edit'. The Video/Demo Information screen displays.
- Enter applicable changes into the Video/Demo Description and Comment Text fields.
- Click 'Ok'.
- Click “Preview” in the Link column to view your demo file.
- Click 'Save'. The Version Comment tab displays
- Please note: Comments are required.
- Enter the version comments in the field provided.
- Click 'Save'. A confirmation message displays at the top of the screen.
- Select 'Add/Edit Skills' from the Skills menu selections. The Skills Content Management screen displays.
- Click 'Create a new skill' or choose to edit an existing skill in the Skill's Content Management section.
- Click the Demos icon. The Videos tab of the Video/Demo Loader screen displays
- Click on the video row
- Click 'Delete'.
- Click 'Save'.
- Enter the version comments in the field provided.
- Click 'Save' again. A confirmation message displays at the top of the screen.
