What is the Linda Hall Library document delivery service?

The full texts of most documents in Compendex and Inspec are available from the Linda Hall Library, one of the world's leading independent research libraries dedicated to science, engineering, and technology.

How

Follow these steps to order documents through the Linda Hall Library.

1. Near the top of a document, click ‘Linda Hall Library.’ The ‘Linda Hall Library’ pop-up window opens.
2. If your institution has a deposit account with the Linda Hall Library:

   • Enter your password.
   • Click ‘Submit.’
3. If your organization does not have a deposit account with the Linda Hall Library:

   • Click the ‘Linda Hall Library’ link located beneath the ‘Submit’ button near the middle of the ‘Linda Hall Library’ pop-up window. The ‘Digital Initiatives Unit: Document Delivery’ page opens.
   • Follow the on-screen prompts to either create a document delivery request or to create an account if you are a new user.
