How do I get my Elsevier eBook+ to read to me?

The Read Aloud feature in Elsevier eBooks+ allows you to listen to the content of your eBook while reading along.

To enable Read Aloud:

1. Open the eBook from your Elsevier eBooks+ library.
2. In the eBook reader, click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the upper-right corner of the screen.
3. Select Read Aloud from the menu options.
4. Click the Play button to begin listening to the text.

Tips

• Use the playback controls to pause, resume, or navigate through the audio.
• The Read Aloud feature is available directly within the Elsevier eBooks+ reader and Elsevier eBooks+ application.

Can't see the Read Aloud option?

If the Read Aloud option is not visible, try:

• Refresh your browser or reopen the eBook.
• Make sure you are using the latest version of your browser or the latest version of the app.
• Sign out of your Elsevier eBooks+ account, then sign back in.
