How do I connect to STATdx through 3M|M*Modal Fluency for Imaging and Fluency Direct?
Last updated on December 17, 2024Follow the steps below to set up your connection to STATdx through 3M|M*Modal Fluency for Imaging and Fluency Direct. This will enable you to conduct searches using voice-recognition technology and leverage personalization features available in STATdx.
Work with your project manager to ensure that your connection to STATdx through Fluency for Imaging (FFI) is in place, or set up the connection yourself following these instructions.
- Log in to FFI.
- Navigate to Fluency Reporting User Preferences, and under Integrations (in the left-side navigation), click ‘STATdx’. Complete the following:
- Username and Password: Enter your FFI login credentials.
- STATdx Username: This is not your actual STATdx username. Instead make up and enter any unique ID, following these guidelines:
- The ID can be any unique identifier. It should not be the username you use to log in to STATdx directly.
- One suggestion is to add an abbreviation of your institution's name to the beginning of your email address; however, any unique identifier can be used. Example: [email protected].
- This unique ID is needed only for this one-time set-up to establish a connection between FFI and your STATdx profile.
- Launch STATdx from FFI.
- Have you already created a profile in STATdx?
- If YES, log in to your STATdx profile now.
- If NO, complete the following steps:
- Click the gear icon.
- Select ‘Personalize My Account’.
- Complete the Profile fields and submit. Email Address field: Elsevier recommends you use your institutional email address.
- FFI is now connected to your STATdx profile. The CME icon will appear next to the gear icon.
Work with your project manager to ensure that your connection to STATdx through Fluency Direct (FD) is in place, or set up the connection yourself following these instructions.
- Log in to FD.
- Launch STATdx from FD.
- Have you already created a profile in STATdx?
- If YES, log in to your STATdx profile now.
- If NO, complete the following steps:
- Click the gear icon.
- Select ‘Personalize My Account’.
- Complete the Profile fields and submit. Email Address field: Elsevier recommends you use your institutional email address.
- FD is now connected to your STATdx profile. The CME icon will appear next to the gear icon.
