What is My Papers?

Last updated on September 02, 2021

On the My Papers page you will find a collection of papers written by or submitted on behalf of an author or researcher.

This page contains five sections: Ideas, In Process Papers, Publicly Available Papers, Privately Available Papers, and Inactive Papers. There are also links available to the author at the top of the My Papers page connecting to the Author Page (a great resource to send to colleagues and interested readers), Author email signature options (short url for ease of use sharing), and access to your My Personal Info page.

  • Ideas: Tell SSRN what you are currently working on for display in your profile, so that potential collaborators, partners and funding bodies can connect with you.
  • In Process Papers: This section contains your submitted and not-yet-submitted new submissions and revisions.
  • Publicly Available Papers: This section contains your Approved Scholarly Papers that will display on your Author Page and are available in the SSRN eLibrary. These are searchable by SSRN and external search engines.
  • Privately Available Papers: This section contains papers that are not displayed on your Author Page unless the 'Include on Author Page' checkbox is checked. They are not available in the public SSRN eLibrary or to the SSRN search engine due to an author request, submission restriction (e.g. restricted conference), or SSRN policy (e.g. paper is an opinion/advocacy paper or is not a scholarly research paper covered by one of SSRN´s networks). If you want a private paper to display in the 'Other Papers' section on your SSRN Author Page and as a result be searchable by external search engines (such as Google), click the paper's 'Include on Author Page' checkbox below (if available). Downloads of these papers are not included in computing the total downloads shown on your author page.
  • Inactive Papers: This section contains papers that have been made inactive by the author or by SSRN (e.g due to a major revision). These papers do not display on your author page and are not available to the SSRN or external search engines.
