What are RSS and Data Feeds on SSRN?
Last updated on November 17, 2025
RSS is an abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. It is a standard for distributing updates to a web site on a regular basis. Most news organizations have RSS feeds, and SSRN has created them for all SSRN authors and Rankings.
What content is available via an RSS?
RSS icons are available on all SSRN Author pages and Rankings pages. Each Author RSS feed provides notification of new papers and revisions, and each Rankings RSS feed provides notification of the current top 10 papers, authors, or organizations.
SSRN provides RSS feeds and XML feeds of article metadata to institutions. For further information on metadata feeds, contact SSRN Support.
Third-Party Distribution
From time to time, SSRN may partner with commercial or non-commercial third parties to distribute or redistribute the submitted content. SSRN works with such partners to enhance partner services and to extend the reach and impact of SSRN content.
