What are my paper's Citation and References on SSRN?
Last updated on March 01, 2022
SSRN's Citations Service has two important elements: The first element is a reference extraction algorithm that can extract citations of your papers on SSRN when it is uploaded or revised. The service updates citation counts of papers on our site every day.
The second element is a connection to the CrossRef lookup service, which means that once your paper has a DOI and starts to become cited beyond SSRN, we are able to display the second set of CrossRef citations for your paper to provide a more complete picture of how your paper is being shared across the web. See Crossref's registered publishers and journals.
The citation count algorithm on the SSRN website is specific to SSRN and will differ from citation counts in Google Scholar and other similar sources.
SSRN's Citation Service is beta stage and not all information may appear as expected. SSRN Support is unable to adjust references or citations manually.
