How do I connect my SSRN and ORCID accounts?

Last updated on October 28, 2021

You can connect to ORCID via your 'My Account' page on SSRN.

NOTE: This information is private on SSRN and is not made publicly available. Adding your ORCID to your SSRN profile will not automatically add your paper reference to ORCID, it simply allows for accurate author identification.

To connect your SSRN and ORCID accounts:

  1. Sign in to SSRN.
  2. Click 'My Account'.
  3. Click 'Connect to my ORCID record' and enter your ORCID credentials (or Register if you do not have an ORCID ID yet).
  4. Your ORCID will populate into the ORCID field on your My Account profile page. This information is not publicly available.

Connecting to ORCID via SSRN does not automatically add your work to your ORCID profile. Authors who would like their SSRN papers referenced in their ORCID profile would need to “Add works using an identifier” directly in ORCID by adding the SSRN DOI. SSRN is not able to do this on your behalf. Visit ORCID Support to learn more about adding your work to ORCID.
