How do I request corrections to a document?

You can request a correction to a document using the Scopus web form on the Scopus Support Center. Using the web form, you can request changes to a document, including:

Abstract

Article Number

Digital Object Identifier (DOI)

Document Title

Document Type Correction

Duplicate

Missing References

Page Number

Publication Year/Date Correction

Author Affiliations

Author Name

Correspondence Information

The information within the documents provides the basis for author profiles. Correcting document information can also correct author profiles.

To request a document correction:

  1. Select your role.
  2. From the Contact reason dropdown, select 'Document Correction'.
  3. Enter a subject and document title.
  4. In the Your question field, enter details about the correction including:
    • Details about the incorrect information
    • Details about the correct information
    • A link to the correct document on a publisher's site or attach a correct version of the article
  5. Provide the necessary contact details.
  6. Select 'Send your question'.
