What can I do on a Reference Collection page?

Reference Collections are available in 7 subject areas and are designed to give a comprehensive overview of the Major reference works available in that specific subject area. On a Reference Collection page you can:

• View the most recent, accepted, editorially reviewed chapters in press – These chapters are not yet assigned to any reference works and therefore uniquely available on the Reference Collection pages.
• Preview the contributing reference works which are available on ScienceDirect.
• The number of chapters and reference works which make up the Reference Collection – Automatically updated to reflect the latest additions.
• If your organization subscribes to more than one Reference Collection you can also easily navigate to another Reference Collection directly from the bottom of the home page using the ‘More reference collections’ section.

Browse chapters or Major reference works

• Select a chapter title in the 'Chapters in Press' section.
• Select ‘View all chapters’ to see a full list of recently published chapters-in-press.
• Browse by reference work by selecting any title from the ‘Major reference works’ section.

Search within the Collection

• Use the ‘Search in this collection’ search field to complete a keyword search across all content within the Reference Collection on any topic of interest.

From the search results page, you can:

• Select a chapter title to access the chapter for review.
• Preview abstracts and graphic abstracts (if available).
• Download PDFs.
• If you are not subscribed to the reference module, you can purchase a chapter.
