MD, DO, OH, MedEd Navigation Update

We are excited to announce that we have updated our MD product navigation to align with the latest NBME USMLE® Content Outline and our DO product navigation to match the NBOME COMLEX-USA® Master Blueprint. These updates will make it easier for you to find the right content when you need it.

Osmosis MD Product Updates

• Updated Content:

  • Foundational Sciences, Organ Systems, USMLE® Step 1 Review, and USMLE® Step 2 Review have been revised to reflect the NBME USMLE® Content Outline.

• Clerkships: This section has not changed and continues to align with U.S. clerkship curricula.

Osmosis DO Product Updates

• Reorganization:

  • Foundational Sciences and Organ Systems have now been reorganized to match the MD product structure.

• Updated Content:

  • COMLEX-USA® Level 1 and USMLE® Step 1 Review and COMLEX-USA® Level 2 and USMLE® Step 2 Review have been updated to fit the COMLEX-USA® Master Blueprint.

• Clerkships: Similar to the MD product, this section remains unchanged and aligned with U.S. clerkship curricula.

Changes in Categories

• Renamed Categories: For example, “Biostatistics and Epidemiology” is now titled “Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Population Health, and Interpretation of the Medical Literature” on the MD product and “Epidemiology and Population Sciences” on the DO product to align with the terms used by the NBME and NBOME, respectively

• New Categories Added:

  • Human Development has been included in both the USMLE® Step 1 and Step 2 Reviews in the MD product.

  • Community Health and Patient Presentations Related to Wellness have been added to COMLEX-USA® Level 1 and Step 1 Review, as well as Level 2 and Step 2 Review in the DO product.

• Reorganized Topics: Topics concerning the eye and ear can now be found under Nervous System and Special Senses in the MD product and Nervous System and Mental Health in the DO product, instead of the previous “Eyes, Ears, Nose, and Throat” category.

Important Note

Please note that this update does not include changes to the quiz builders. We are actively working on integrating that feature in the near future.
