Who can earn continuing education credits through Osmosis?

  • All clinical professionals can receive AMA PRA Category 1 credits™ through Osmosis. However, it’s essential to confirm that this type of credit is accepted by your state boards.

What if our institution is already a registered paid Osmosis member?

What if my institution does not currently have a paid Osmosis membership?

  • Signing up is a great option! Students will gain access to a leading health education platform, and faculty and practicing clinicians can access it through an institutional agreement with Osmosis.

How Are CME Credits Calculated?

  • Credits are based on the length of videos and the number of questions in related quizzes.

  • Video lengths are rounded up to the nearest 15-minute increment:

    • 1 to 15 minutes = 0.25 credits

    • 16 to 30 minutes = 0.5 credits

  • All credits for a video are awarded after watching the entire video.

  • Questions contribute 3 minutes each, with total question time rounded up to the next 15 minutes. Credits for questions are awarded upon achieving 75% correctness.
