Blackboard – Osmosis LMS Access Set-up Instructions

Adding LTI 1.3 Evolve Link Tool in Blackboard

1. Log in as an administrator into your Blackboard Learn system.
2. Click on the System Admin
3. Under Integrations, Select LTI Tool Providers.
4. Click Register LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool.
5. Enter the following Client ID: 49e00053-6ec2-4879-b75e-3d08edad2f9a
6. Click the Submit button.
7. Copy down the Deployment ID (This will need to be sent to Elsevier)
8. Tool Status: Approved.
9. Check all boxes under User field to send (Constituency in course, Name, E-mail)
10. Allow Evaluations Service Access: Yes
11. Allow Membership Service Access: Yes

12. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

    

13. Return to LTI Tool Providers.
14. Click the dropdown arrow next to the Tool Name LTI13 – BBProduction

15. Click Manage Placement

    

16. Click Create Placement.

    

17. Label: Osmosis LTI 1.3
18. Handle: Osmosis LTI 1.3
19. Availability: Yes
20. Click Course Content Tool

    • Check the box Allow Evaluation
21. Check the box Launch in a new Window.
22. Target Link URL: https://authgateway.elsevier.com/tools/lti3/osmosis
23. Click the submit button at the bottom of the page.
