How do I create alerts in Knovel?

Alerts are search queries saved to My Knovel which are re-executed when new content is uploaded to Knovel. If new content matches your query, you will be notified by email. The email can contain up to five search results / snippets, and includes a link to ‘View All Results’ that takes you to the Knovel result(s).

To create an alert you are required to be logged in to Knovel.

How

Each alert will be set up for all of the following content types:

  • Book title
  • Database title
  • Book section
  • Conference proceedings
  • Journal article
  • Interactive equation
  • Engineering case

You can create your alert starting from:

  • Please note: You can set up to 20 alerts. Setting up multiple alert recipients is not currently possible, but may be considered for a future release.
