How do I search for content within a book?

Elsevier eBooks+ makes it easy to find specific terms, topics, and phrases within your eBooks.

Search Within an Open eBook

1. Open the eBook you want to search.
2. Select the Search icon (🔍) in the upper-right corner of the reader.
3. Enter a keyword, phrase, or topic in the search field.
4. Review the search results and select a result to navigate directly to the relevant section of the book.

Search Across Your Library in the Elsevier eBooks+ App

The Elsevier eBooks+ app also allows you to search across your available titles and book content from one location.

1. Select Search from the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Enter your search term in the search bar.
3. Choose one of the available search options:

   • Search in all titles to find matching content across your library.
   • Search inside my books to search within your downloaded books.
4. Select a result to open the book and jump directly to the relevant content.

Tip: The Book Content tab displays content matches from your library, helping you quickly locate information across multiple books.

Important Notes

• Search is available for supported eBook content in Elsevier eBooks+.
• You cannot search across ancillary content, such as supplemental resources, media, or attachments.
• Search results may vary depending on the books available in your library and whether content has been downloaded for offline access.
