To log in to Elsevier's Electronic Manuscript Submission System (EMSS), you are required to:
●Be registered in EMSS by your editorial contact. To be registered, tell your editorial contact what book and chapter you are working on. Your editorial contact will then create your account so you can set a password.
●Know the email address your account was created under (this will be your login username).
●Know your password, if you've logged in before.
How
If this is your first time logging in, click the 'New User?' link.
On the Welcome page, review the instructions for adding
[email protected] to your safe senders list, then enter your email address and click '
Send Welcome Email'.
Follow the link contained in the Welcome email within two hours of receiving it.
The link will open a window in EMSS where you will be able to set and confirm your system password (note the minimum complexity security parameters when creating your password).
Click 'Reset Password' and you will be logged into the system and directed to the Profile page to enter your contact and affiliation information. Enter the required fields and click 'Save'.
After completing these steps you are logged in to EMSS.
If you are unable to log into your account, you can request a password reset via the EMSS login page. If you need to change your email address, please log in and edit it from your Profile page, or contact your Elsevier representative.
