How do I build an assessment in ClinicalKey Student?
Last updated on December 16, 2024
Instructors can easily build an assessment in ClinicalKey Student. Illustrated instructions are also available in our Build an Assessment guide.
How?
Follow the steps below to build and assign an assessment for your students.
- When you are on the home page, you can click 'Build an Assessment'.
- The Build an Assessment page opens.
- Name your assessment (Step 1). Use only letters and numbers up to 50 characters.
- Click 'Add Questions' (Step 2) to select the questions you want. You will be able to review questions by topics or keywords and select them one by one to customize your assessment.
- Once you have selected all the questions you want, click ‘Done’.
- Choose your assignees (Step 3).
- By default, the assessment will be assigned to all the students enrolled in your course.
- If you want to edit the list of assignees, click 'Edit Assignees'. Then select individual student(s) in your course, and assign the assessment only to those students.
- Select date range (Step 4), an available date (when student will be able to start taking the assessment), and a due date (when you expect students to have completed the assessment).
- Click 'Assign'. (If the 'Assign' button is gray, it means you have missed one field.)
- A modal opens to confirm that the assessment has been assigned. Click ‘View All Your Assessments’ to view it and your other assessments.
You can also navigate to your assessments by clicking the Assessments tab at the top of any page.
Please note: Once your students have started responding, you can modify only the assessment name and due date.
