How do I access ClinicalKey Student as an instructor?

Follow these steps the first time you access ClinicalKey Student through your course in your institution's learning management system (LMS). Illustrated instructions are also available in our Get Started guide.

Confirm Your Identity

This verification step confirms the information (your name and email) sent by your institution's LMS and asks for your consent to pass it on to ClinicalKey Student.

1. Access your course in the LMS. Click the link to ClinicalKey Student, which opens in a new window.
2. Confirm your identity the first time you attempt to access ClinicalKey Student.

   • Important: The fields are pre-populated with the information sent by your institution's LMS. Do not modify the information.
3. Review the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookies statement, and continue if you agree with them.
4. Click ‘Confirm and Register.’ The instructors’ home page opens.
5. The next time you access ClinicalKey Student from your course in the LMS, you will be taken directly to the instructors’ home page.

Students’ View

Students need to follow the same process as instructors the first time they enter ClinicalKey Student from your course.

• Encourage students to complete these steps as soon as possible, so any questions or issues can be resolved before your first assignment.
• Students need to launch ClinicalKey Student from your course even if they previously launched the product from another course. This enables ClinicalKey to link the students to your course.
• The home page for students is different than that for instructors. Where instructors see an Assessments tab and a ‘Build an Assessment’ button, students see an Assignments tab and a ‘Create a Test’ button.
