Why aren't PDFs available for medical education Books?

ClinicalKey doesn't provide PDFs for book titles with the specialty designation of "medical education." These books are used by students and trainees in an educational (undergraduate and graduate level) setting.

The business decision to not include PDFs for these titles was based on the fact that we have experienced systematic and widespread downloading and sharing of PDFs for medical student titles. 

Answer

Follow these steps to check if the book should have available PDFs in CK:

• Download the Master Content List
• Click the ‘Books’ tab
• Do a ‘Ctrl + F’ search
• Check the ‘PDFs Available’ column for the row of the book

Situation 1: Value is ‘Yes’

Assign the query to CK 2^nd line Support.

Situation 2: Value is ‘No’

Explain the customer why PDF’s are not available for this title (see text above the 'Follow these steps' section).
