Cost Codes are applied to an Account's transactional purchasing and document delivery. To apply cost codes, a ScienceDirect user must enter a cost code when requesting transactional access for unsubscribed ScienceDirect content.

Follow the steps below to:

To Add Cost Codes

  1. In ‘Add New Cost Codes’, paste or enter a list of cost codes to be applied to the Account.
  2. Click ‘Add’. Your new cost codes appear.
  3. Click ‘Save’. The cost code list displays your new cost codes.

To Remove Cost Codes

  1. From your Cost Codes list, select the check boxes of cost codes you want to remove.
  2. Click ‘Remove’. The cost code is removed from the list.
  3. Click ‘Save’. The selected cost codes are removed from your list.
