How do I enable or disable the Patents Tab in Scopus search results?

The Edit Scopus Search Options page allows you to edit default settings for conducting a Scopus search.
How
Follow these steps to enable / disable the Patents Tab in Scopus search results:
Select the ‘Scopus’ tab and click ‘Search Options’.
Note: You will see the inherited default setting as either 'Yes' or 'No'. You can either change the default settings here, or apply the changes at a group level by clicking ‘Overview of Group Settings’.
- Select the relevant option below to see further steps:
- Next to ‘Account Setting’, select the dropdown menu and choose from:
- Use Inherited Default: Uses the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group.
- Set to Yes: Displays the Patents tab in Scopus Search Results pages.
- Set to No: Prevents the Patents tab from appearing in Scopus Search Results pages.
- Click ‘Save’.
- Click ‘Overview of Group Settings’.
- Select which group you want to edit the settings for. You can edit the settings in the next screen:
- Inherited Default: Uses the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group.
- Yes: Displays the Patents tab in Scopus Search Results pages.
- No: Prevents the Patents tab from appearing in Scopus Search Results pages.
- Click ‘Save’.
