Scopus title suggestion: rejected titles

If your title is not selected, the Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB) will provide reviewer comments explaining the decision and a resubmission date — the earliest date you can suggest the same title again. 

The embargo period before resubmission can range from six months to several years. The length depends on how long reviewers estimate it will take to address the feedback. 

When the embargo period has passed, you can submit the title again. You will need to include a cover letter explaining: 

• How you have addressed the reviewer comments 
• How the title has improved since the last evaluation 

Submitting the same title before the embargo period has passed, or submitting it multiple times, does not improve your chances and may delay the review.
