What can I do on a book home page?

The new book home page provides improved navigation to the information you need.

  • About the book’ takes you to the book details, which may include:
    • Publication description
    • Key features
    • Publishing information, including DOI
    • Editor information, including affiliations
  • Browse this book’ takes you to the book table of contents
  • Quickly get access to the book.
    • If you/your institution is subscribed to the book, you can download all the chapters.
    • If you are not subscribed to the book, you can check if your institution has access to the book.
      1. Select ‘Check access for this book’.
      2. Sign in using your institution sign-in credentials.
    • If your institution does not have access, you can purchase the book for download.
  • Search in this book’ to quickly find the chapters in this book which contain your search terms.

In the Table of contents pane, you can:

  • Select a chapter title to access the chapter for review
  • Expand the section or sub-section to access nested chapters
  • Preview abstracts and graphic abstracts (if available)
  • Export citations of one or multiple chapters
  • Download the PDF of all chapters or specific book chapters
  • If you are not subscribed to the book, you can purchase a book chapter
