Why have I received a message that my account has been updated?

Elsevier products and services are evolving and they now share the same identification system.

This means that one username and password gives you single sign-on access to other Elsevier products, including TheLancet.com, Cell.com, Scopus, ScienceDirect and Mendeley. The change is being rolled out to customers who have accounts on the journal websites.

If you do not already have an account, you will automatically be part of the shared identification system when you register.
