How do I update the affiliation in my Author Profile?

Follow these steps to request changes to affiliation details in your author profile:

1. Run an Author search. The Author results page opens.
2. Find your profile name and click ‘View Scopus Author Profile.’ The corresponding Author details page in Scopus opens.

   • Sometimes you may experience a glitch where you are sent to a Scopus search page instead of the Scopus Author details page.

     • If this happens, close the Scopus tab. The Engineering Village Author results page opens.
     • Click the ‘View Scopus Author Profile’ link in Engineering Village. The Scopus Author details page opens.
3. From the Scopus Author details page, click ‘Edit profile.’ The ‘Is this your own profile?’ page opens.
4. From this pop-up page, select whether this is your author profile or are requesting changes on behalf of someone else.
5. Click ‘Cancel’ to stop this operation or ‘Continue’ to access the next page. The Author Feedback Wizard opens.

1. From the Author Feedback Wizard, select ‘Author details.’
2. From the Preferred name dropdown, select the desired name format of the author.
3. From the Current organization dropdown, select the desired affiliation.
4. Select the ‘Review changes’ button at the bottom of the page.
5. Select ‘Submit request’ to submit the change for review or ‘Continue editing’ to return to the Author Feedback Wizard to make more changes.
