How do I request corrections to incorrect information in a document?

If you notice incorrect information in a document, you can request a correction by contacting our support team.
Common issues that may require correction include the following:
- Misspelled author names
- Incorrect title, document type, publication year, or ISSN
- Duplicate DOIs
- Incorrect Engineering Village (EV) funding data
Request a document correction
- Open the webform.
- Under ‘Contact reason,’ select ‘Document Correction.’
- Provide the following details in your request:
- Subject that contains a clear description of the incorrect information and the requested correction
- Document title
- DOI (optional)
- Article number (if applicable)
Provide supporting information by providing either (or both) of the following two options:
- Adding a link to the correct document on the publisher’s website, or
- Attaching a PDF copy of the correct version of the document
Note: For funding data requests, include ‘Scopus/EV Funding Data Correction’ in the Subject line of the form.
- Select ‘Send your question.’
Important: Corrections can only be made if the requested changes match the information on the publisher’s website.
