How do I reset my password for EMSS?
Last updated on November 17, 2022To reset your password for Elsevier's Electronic Manuscript Submission System (EMSS), you're required to:
- Have logged in before. If this is the first time you are logging into EMSS, click on the 'New user?' link, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to login.

Follow the steps below to reset your password for EMSS:
- Go to the EMSS login page.
- Click 'Forgot password?'
- Enter your registered email address.
- Click 'Reset Password'.
- You will receive an email with a personalized link to reset your password.
- Click the 'Password reset page' link within 2 hours, or you will need to request a new reset email.
- If you can't find the email to reset your password, check your spam folder or junk mail folder.
- Change your password for EMSS.
- Log in to EMSS with the reset password.
