How is the overall Patient Outcome score determined after I complete a case?
Last updated on September 04, 2024
At the end of a completed case, the system provides instant, tailored feedback based on the decisions made through a case. The Patient Outcome scores are weighted, so if a critical error is made, you will see this reflected in the Patient Outcome at the end of the case. You will see overall Patient Outcome(s) at the top, and the result may be one of the following:
Optimal
Perform the minimal number of clinical decisions to ensure the most favorable clinical outcome for the patient.
Suboptimal
One or more of the minimal clinical decisions has been missed, potentially compromising the most favorable clinical outcome for the patient.
Poor
One or more of the minimal clinical decisions has been missed, and the potential clinical outcome is life-threatening.
