How do I use the Presentation Maker in ClinicalKey Student?

You can use the Presentation Maker to share the latest evidence-based information with colleagues by exporting images with their citation and copyright information into a PowerPoint presentation.
Please Note: You must be logged in to ClinicalKey Student with a personal user account to use this feature.
How
Follow these steps to export images into a PowerPoint presentation:
- Select and click an image from the browse or search results.
- Click the 'Add to Presentation' link at the bottom of the image.
- Select the presentation to which the image should be added. You can either:
- Select an existing Presentation
- Click the 'Select Presentation' drop-down menu and choose from the existing Presentation/s.
- Select 'Add' to add the image without opening the presentation. A confirmation message will indicate the image has been added. Click the 'X' in the upper-right corner to close the image and return to the browse or search results.
or - Select 'Add and View Presentation' to navigate to the My Presentations area, which offers the following options in the upper-right corner of the screen: 'Create New Presentation', 'Rename', 'Download', and 'Delete'.
or - Create a new Presentation
- Click the '+ Create New Presentation' link, fill in the name, and then click 'Save'.
- Select 'Add' to add the image without opening the presentation. A confirmation message will indicate the image has been added. Click the 'X' in the upper-right corner to close the image and return to the browse or search results.
or - Select 'Add and View Presentation' to navigate to the My Presentations area, which offers the following options in the upper-right corner of the screen: 'Create New Presentation', 'Rename', 'Download', and 'Delete'.
- Visit the 'My Presentations' area by either:
- Navigating from an image through the 'Add and View Presentation' button,
or - Clicking the 'Presentations' link at the top of the screen.
- In the 'Presentations' area, you can:
- Create New Presentation: See step 3 for more details.
- Rename Presentation: Click the 'Rename' link, type in a new name, and click 'Rename'.
- Download Presentation: Click the 'Download' link. A pop-up window will let you know that the presentation was downloaded successfully. Click 'OK', or the 'X' in the upper-right corner to close the pop-up. The download will be a PowerPoint (.ppt) file, and the citation information and copyright line will appear below the image.
- Delete Presentation: Click the 'Delete' link. A pop-up will ask you to confirm you want to delete the presentation. Click 'Delete' to confirm, or 'Cancel' to close the pop-up without deleting the presentation.
