How do I login to a ClinicalKey site through my institution or OpenAthens?

This remote access option, also known as Federated Access, allows you to sign in and prove your institutional association via your institution.
How
Follow these steps to login via OpenAthens to access your ClinicalKey subscription.
- Visit the ClinicalKey site login page for which you are subscribed:
- Under ‘Log in via your institution’, select ‘OpenAthens login’. This will redirect you to the OpenAthens login page.
- Please login with your OpenAthens credentials here or use the ‘Find your organization’s search box on the right side of the page.
- Once successfully signed in you will return to ClinicalKey and you can choose to register to save time in the future or to continue without registering.
Please note: Registration is required to take advantage of any personalized features, such as Presentation Maker, saved searches and book chapter PDFs.

- Under ‘Log in via your institution’, select ‘Other institution login’.
- On the left side of the page, you can search for your institution. Or, you can select the federation, or group of institutions, that your organization belongs to and it will redirect you to your institution’s login page.
- On your institutional login page, you will be asked to sign in.
- Once successfully signed in you will return to ClinicalKey and you can choose to register to save time in the future or to continue without registering.
